Our Mission

Three Squares New England partners with hunger relief organizations to raise awareness, fundraise, and build a community working to end food insecurity.

Our History

A Journey Rooted in Community

Three Squares New England was founded in 2012, after our co-founders began volunteering at the Dedham Food Pantry. Through that work, they saw firsthand that small and mid-sized hunger relief organizations were doing extraordinary work. They also learned these frontline organizations often lacked the infrastructure, staff capacity, and fundraising tools needed to sustain and grow. Too often, these organizations operated in isolation without shared platforms, visibility, or opportunities for collaboration.
With the support of a group of friends, they launched the first Ride for Food in support of the Dedham Food Pantry. What began with 60 riders and nearly $40,000 raised has grown into the Ride & Stride for Food, a signature event that has raised over $6.5 million since 2012. We return 100% of all team-raised funds directly to our partners, supporting more than 400,000 people facing food insecurity and helping organizations strengthen programs, expand their reach, and improve the quality of food they provide.

In 2025, we expanded this work with the launch of the Three Squares Round Table, bringing together nonprofit leaders for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and collaboration on the most pressing challenges in hunger relief.

Together, these efforts not only raise critical funds but also build community, increase awareness, and create new opportunities for our partners to connect with supporters and advance food equity.

As Chief Engagement Officer at the Centering Healthcare Institute she had the opportunity to work with Federally Qualified Health Centers and Community Health Centers across the country that were providing holistic care to their patients and finding innovative approaches to address the social determinants of health.

Visiting clinics with vegetable gardens, teaching kitchens, nutrition classes built into the medical encounter, onsite farmers markets that accepted SNAP benefits, and partnerships with local food banks illuminated how access to healthy foods is at the core of health.
